Original Edo Period Japanese Tokugawa Clan Katanakake Sword Stand early c.18th (comes with Certificate of Authenticity)

Katanakake sword stand in good order from the Edo Period, Japan. With twin hiramaki-e low relief laquer Tokugawa aoi mon of pure gold, on black natutally aged laquer ground. The aoi leaves are so clearly accomplished that the minutely thin raised gold veins are well defined for each vein. Original Edo Period Japanese sword stands are most rarely found today. Highly collectible for serious collectors.
